Sinkhole Repairs Close Road

Sonora, CA – A portion of Stewart Street in Sonora is closed so that repairs can be made to a sinkhole.
The closure is between Lyons and Theal Streets. As reported previously, the sinkhole was discovered last week, and steel plates were placed over the top so that it did not impact traffic. The closure will run today through Friday, from 6am – 3pm, so permanent repairs can be made. Traffic is being redirected.
