Thousands Without Power

Sonora, CA — PG&E reports there is a widespread power outage across Tuolumne County this evening.
The outage started at 8:40pm and 2,591 customers are without electricity. PG&E reports the outage is impacting a large portion of the Phoenix Lake area, stretching over to parts of Mono Way, and even into Columbia.
PG&E reports the customers should be restored by midnight. What caused the outage is still being assessed.
