Update: After Three Years, Police Search Turns To Public To Help Find Missing Sonora Woman
Update at 2:50 p.m.: After inquiries from Clarke Broadcasting regarding why after three years this missing person information was released, Sonora Police spokesperson Thomas Brickley responded, “It is a push by the department to get these cases back into the forethought of the communities’ mindset, as we are constantly looking for missing people.”
Currently, there are eight missing people reports with a gender breakdown of about 50-50 men and women. The earliest case dates back to 2016. Brickley says they plan to release all eight cases in the coming weeks in hopes that it will create new leads to their whereabouts. Regarding reporting information to police Brickley emphasizes, “Our social media pages are not actively monitored…If you have any information or want to report anything calling our department is the fastest way to get a hold of an officer and help get that information out and get that investigation rolling as fast as possible.”

Original post at 12:52 p.m.: Sonora, CA – Police are asking for the public’s help to find the woman pictured in the image box who disappeared in 2018.
She is 60-year-old Juanita Louise Carroll-Strunk. Investigators report that she left her residence at 356 South Barretta Street in Sonora on Feb. 20, more than three years ago. She has not been seen or heard from since then. Police give this description for Carroll-Strunk: 5’4” tall, 154 lbs., brown hair and eyes, as detailed in the flyer below:
