Hix, Henry Sr.
Henry Arnold Hix Sr. born April 25, 1945 to Claude and Alma Lewis Hix, in Stockton, CA. He was raised in Mt. Ranch, CA. He passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his residence in Tuolumne, California He graduated from Calaveras High School in 1963. He worked as an electrician at Rasmussen Lumber Mill in Chinese Camp, CA. He finished his lumber career at the lumber mill in Standard, CA as Head of Maintenance. He retired from Tri-Dam Water Project in Strawberry, CA.
He married his high school sweetheart, Brenda J. Waller, in 1963. They raised two children in Tuolumne, CA. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, daughter Debra Hix Yungkurth (Eric) lives in Tehachapi, CA and son Hank Hix Jr. lives in Twin Falls, ID, four grandchildren Marissa Yungkurth Morgan (Christopher), Kristen Yungkurth, Christopher Hix, and Daniel Hix. He also has two great-grandchildren Gavin and Evora Morgan. He has a sister Barbara Kinsey living in Arizona and a brother Steven Hix, Sr. living in Sonora, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Alma Lewis Hix, and three sisters and two brothers Betty Hix Holloway, Jerlene Hix McKim, Clara Hix Briski, Claude (Jay) Hix Jr., and Carl Hix. He leaves a few aunts and uncles, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many special friends.
