Even Scrooge Didn’t Go This Far

Workers at the Salvation Army in Clarksburg, West Virginia, are devastated after someone ransacked the office and ripped open hundreds of Christmas packages.

The broken toys were meant to go to low-income children in the area.

The break-in occurred Thursday night. It´s not clear yet if anything was actually taken. Police say they´re doing everything they can to catch the culprit.

A Salvation Army official says the vandal may have been looking for money, not realizing that Salvation Army workers don´t keep cash in the office.
