A few fire safety tips from CDF officials as the cooler weather approaches. Make sure your chimney is
cleaned out as early as possible in anticipation of wood heating season. It´s also a good idea to keep a fire extinguisher in the kitchen, and to make sure you
have smoke detectors in or near bedrooms on all floors of your home.
Officials want you to make sure your address is clearly posted as well. That´s
helpful whether you have a fire or a medical emergency.
