Apples Could Again Head To Taiwan

Sponsored by:

The U.S. and Taiwan have reached an agreement that could reopen the top foreign market for California apples.

Taiwan stopped buying American apples last month after saying it found moth larvae in shipments from Washington and California. But Taiwan accepted a shipment of California apples in transit when the ban took effect. Taiwan bought about $10 million worth of California apples last year.
