Sonora, Oakdale Win; Face Off Next Week For Title

In high school football Friday, Sonora washed over the winless Buhach Colony Thunder 34-8. Sophomore Zeke Delgado waded into the end zone twice and was named the KVML Black Oak Casino Player of the Game.
Oakdale doubled up on East Union 40 to 20, setting up a head-to-head showdown with Sonora next week for the Valley Oak League crown. Both teams are undefeated in league play.
In the Mother Lode League, Calaveras stomped Summerville 42-13, and Amador shut out Bret Harte on the Bullfrogs´ home field, 36-0.
