Possible Suspect Investigated In Levy Case

Sponsored by:

A grand jury reportedly will take testimony from people close to a man who´s now getting a lot of attention in the Chandra Levy case. The Washington Post reports among those subpoenaed are Ingmar Guandique´s former apartment manager and former girlfriend. The apartment manager tells the Post she noticed scratches and other marks on Guandique around the time of Levy´s disappearance. Guandique reportedly told the manager the wounds were from his girlfriend, but the girlfriend says the two of them had broken off their relationship by that time.

Guandique is in prison for assaults on two women that occurred in Washington´s huge Rock Creek Park in May and July of 2001. Levy vanished on May first, 2001. The former government intern´s remains were found earlier this year in Rock Creek Park.
