Sonora Man Arrested In Drive By Shooting

A Sonora area 19 year-old is being held this morning in connection with the drive by shooting yesterday.
Sheriffs Department Lt. John Steely says shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon the owner of a home on the 20000 block of Eureka Road reported five shots being fired at his house by someone with a rifle in a black Toyota Corolla.
Law enforcement officers arrested Andrew Tuschsen on Shaws Flat Road near Highway 49 shortly after.
He is being charged with shooting into an occupied building and is being held on $100,000 bail.
The shooting is apparently related to a relationship break-up. Luckily, no one was injured.
