DUI Checkpoint This Weekend

The California Highway Patrol will conduct at D.U.I. checkpoint tomorrow somewhere in Calaveras County.
CHP area commander Les Quinn says the drunk-driving related accidents have increased in Calaveras County since 1998, due in part to the increase in population and numbers of drivers.
The exact location of the sobriety checkpoint has not been released, but it will be in operation from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Friday night.
