Domestic Partner Seeks Compensation

The domestic partner of a man killed in the September 11th terrorist attacks says he expects he´ll have to fight for the claim he plans to file with the federal victim compensation fund. Keith Bradkowski´s partner of 11 years, 41-year-old Jeff Collman, died on the first plane to strike the World Trade Center.
The 45-year-old Bradkowski says his claim is not about the money. He wants to strengthen the inheritance rights of other gay couples. California has a domestic partner law that grants partners the right to file a wrongful death lawsuit, but does not grant inheritance rights.
