Abductions Of Young Girls Feared

A statewide alert has been issued by Vacaville police after a motorist reported seeing several little girls in a minivan who appeared to have been bound and gagged. Officer Carl Johnson says a girl and her father spotted a white van in the lane next to them. The man says he saw a girl inside with a gag over her mouth. The girl told police she saw three girls with cloth masks over their faces. She said the girls appeared to have their hands tied behind them. The girls appeared to be about five to eight years old.

The man described the van´s driver as a white man with a mustache and short hair that was blond on the sides and darker on top. Johnson says authorities are taking the sighting very seriously and have alerted law enforcement agencies statewide
