Dogs Attack Elderly Man

An 87-year-old El Dorado County man is in serious condition today after being attacked by three dogs yesterday.
Virgil Chiles was apparently looking after his neighbors´ house and animals while they were away. He walked into the enclosed backyard and then was attacked by the dogs.
He was able to get away and walk to his home, where he called a neighbor for help. The neighbor then dialed 911 for him. Animal control was able to capture two of the three dogs, a Great Dane and a collie mix. A yellow lab mix is still missing.
