Tuolumne County Deputies are checking out a report that a Sawmill Flat Road resident was shot at by someone in a passing small red sports car. Deputies are also investigating the theft of rings from a house in Sonora and an apparent break-in to a home in the 18-thousand block of Black Oak Road.
Sonora Police are investigating a report of forged checks at a downtown bank. They are also looking into the theft of some garden ornaments from a yard on East Lyons.
