Crash Closes Old Priest Grade

A Jeep Cherokee went over the embankment on the Old Priest Grade, about a mile from the top of the grade near Big Oak Flat this morning The road was closed at 9:30 a.m. in both directions.
Units on the scene say two occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries. Emergency crews are using ropes to help get the injured victims back up the embankment to a waiting ambulance.
No word on how long the Old Priest Grade will be closed to traffic. Try the new Priest Grade to get to and from Groveland this morning.
