TUD Candidates to Meet in Forum Tonight

The candidates in the Tuolumne Utilities District Board of Directors race will sound off in a forum tonight.

The Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event.

Chamber President George Segarini says dancing around the questions isn´t going to work. “Anytime a panelist is not satisfied with the response…he can go ahead and question that particular candidate again,” Segarini said.

Citizens can also participate by writing down their questions on note cards and handing them up to the panelists.

The forum is expected to last about 90 minutes.

Everyone is invited to the forum tonight at 6 p.m. at the Tuolumne County Administration building in downtown Sonora. If you can´t be there, you can listen to it in it´s entirety at 12:30 p.m. Thursday on AM 1450 KVML.
