Two Sonora Residents Killed in Head-On

Two Sonora residents were killed in a head-on collision early Sunday morning.
The CHP says 34-year-old Thomas Thatcher and 28-year-old Windra Smail were both killed when the pickup Thatcher was driving drifted across the center line on Highway 108 near Highway 49.
CHP Officer Tom Wills says Thatcher and Smail were not wearing their seatbelts. He says three Modesto residents were wearing their seatbelts in the other car. They received only minor injuries
