Steve Young Named To Bush Committee

President Bush has named storied San Francisco Forty-Niners quarterback Steve Young to a star-studded national committee on volunteerism and mentoring.
Young joins such well known figures as Cokie Roberts of ABC News, actor Sean Astin and Baltimore Orioles great Cal Ripkin Junior. Bush named former Washington Redskins defensive back Darrell Green to chair the committee. The panel has been charged with raising the profile of volunteers and mentors by devising ways to publicly honor them.
