Woman Injured After Falling Asleep At Wheel

A Sonora woman was injured yesterday morning after falling asleep at the wheel while driving on Parrots Ferry Road.
The CHP says 47-year-old Kathy Jacobsen fell asleep just before 8 a.m. allowed her Nissan Pathfinder to drift off the road and crash into boulders. She suffered neck, back and hip injuries and was taken to Tuolumne General Hospital for treatment
