Permanent Absentee Voter Program Starts Via Mail

Sponsored by:

Many people are skipping the hassle of Voting Day and using mail-in, absentee ballots instead.

Tuolumne County Elections Clerk Tim Johnson says that the California Secretary of State´s office has sent over 6000 bilingual applications to voters, which explain the process of Vote By Mail, the new permanent absentee voter program.

Participants will automatically receive a ballot in their mailbox, as long as they continue to vote and as long as their address doesn´t change.

You must already be registered to vote to sign up and the application deadline is October 4th.
