Hamilton Named Professor of the Year

A Columbia College professor is being honored today in Washington DC.
Professer Warren Ted Hamilton is California´s best college teacher.
He teaches history, political science, and geography at Columbia. He´s been here since 1998.
2 national groups, the Stanford-based Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Washington-based Council for Advancement and Support of Education, named Hamilton the professor of year.
Hamilton was told to keep the reason for his trip to Washington DC a secret.
He´ll be honored at a luncheon ceremony today.
