Arrest Follows Crash

An injury traffic accident ending up in an arrest for a 29 year-old Murphys man last night.
The highway patrol says Garland Lenard, Jr. was driving his 1982 Toyota west on Highway 4 near Arney Court when he failed to see a stopped Subaru and rear-ending the car.
Driver of that car, 42 year-old Patricia Wilheim of Murphys suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph hospital for treatment.
Lenard was not injured but was arrested by CHP officers for suspicion of felony drunk driving. His passenger, Nathan Winkler of Altaville, refused medical treatment.
