King Faces Arraignment Today

In a hearing today, the bail may double, for a man from Tuolumne who´s now facing nearly forty charges in Superior Court.

43-year-old James Stuart King originally faced charges of having sex with an underage girl. Since then, weapons charges, and charges of possession of steroids for sale have been added.

Tuolumne County District Attorney Don Segerstrom has charged King with 21 felony counts, and 15 more misdemeanors. Segerstrom also hopes to get King´s bail be increased from 25-thousand to 50-thousand.

King was in court Wednesday for arraignment, but when his bail bonds company announced they no longer wanted him as a client, King was ordered back to jail.

King was released from county jail Wednesday afternoon, after posting 25-thousand in bail with a new company.

Arraignment will continue today, in Tuolumne County Superior Court.
