Tuolumne County Sheriff Dick Rogers Suffers Heart Attack

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Sheriff Dick Rogers is recovering from a heart attack suffered over the weekend.
Lt. George Ruckman of the Sheriff´s Department says Rogers is expected to fully recover after surgery.
Rogers is recovering at Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System after the attack which occurred on Saturday.
Rogers recently announced his retirement effective at the end of his current term which is January of 2007.
It is unknown when Rogers will return to duty.
