Angels Camp, CA — The Bret Harte High School freshmen football team has finished an undefeated season and has capped it with a 48-0 victory over Calaveras.
Dually noted the Calaveras freshmen were also undefeated in league games going into the rival match up last week.
The final score board read 48-0 for Bret Harte finishing their season at 9-0.
Calaveras finished the season at 4-1 in league and 5-4 overall.
Also impressive was Bret Harte´s point average up against its competitors. Over the season they scored 409 points and allowed only 84.
Coach Archie Barnett said his team was aggressive and talented. Parent support also helped. Barnett said there were always many parents present at the games.
