Sharp Change In Mother Lode Weather Predicted

Sacramento, CA — Weather forecasters are predicting a drastic change in conditions for the Mother Lode over the next few days.
A large, upper level system is expected to move in from the Gulf of Alaska by later today bringing with it the possibility of showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Forecasters say the most extreme change will happen late tomorrow into Saturday as high winds and potentially heavy rains arrive.
Temperatures could fall by as much as 15 to 20 degrees with highs Saturday predicted to only be in the 60s.
Forecasters say hail is also a possibility.
