O’Byrnes Ferry Road To Remain Closed Until This Evening

Jamestown, CA — CHP now says O´Byrnes Ferry Road will be closed until at least 6:00 tonight.
Authorities have the closed the highway because of a big rig accident at the Tulloch Lake Bridge.
CHP Spokesman Tom Wills says the truck is now fully submerged in 40 to 50 feet of water.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department and officials from the County Coroner´s Office are on scene.
Authorities are calling the accident a fatality as the driver has not been located and is believed to be still inside the truck.
CDF and the Department of Fish and Game are also on hand. Officials are attempting to determine whether the truck was carrying any hazardous materials.
