Jamestown Woman Dies After Being Ejected From Jeep

Jamestown, CA — A Jamestown woman is dead after being ejected from her vehicle this morning.
The CHP says 55 year old Elaine Lorenzetti was driving southbound on Jacksonville Road south of Lulu Mine Road in a Jeep Cherokee at 8:25am.
For unknown reasons Lorenzetti veered off the road, up an embankment and then overturned into a field on the west side of Jacksonville Road.
While Lorenzetti was overturning she was ejected and came to rest of the west shoulder of the road.
She was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. There is an investigation underway regarding the use of her safety equipment.
