Police Department Warns Motorists About Fair Traffic

Sonora, CA — The Sonora Police Department is reminding residents of the increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic that will be occurring this weekend, due to the Mother Lode Fair.
Additional officers will be targeting traffic, parking and pedestrian problems in the area of Stockton Road during the fair.
The police department is asking motorists and pedestrians to use caution, as well as common sense, while traveling in the area of the fairgrounds this weekend.
With the department´s increased patrols for the fair, they will also be looking for drunk drivers; a designated driver is recommended.
