Former Teacher Arraigned

A former Mother Lode school teacher accused of taking pictures of children with a hidden camera was arraigned yesterday in court in San Andreas.
54-year old Valley Springs resident Wesley Levi is charged with one count of possessing material showing minors engaged in or simulating sexual activity. Levi used to teach at Jenny Lind Elementary School in Calaveras County. He did not enter a plea and is scheduled to return to Calaveras County Superior Court on Monday.
