A Long Barn dog owner who had her two poodles kidnapped from a Modesto church parking area has been reunited with her beloved pooches.
A woman in Ceres tells authorities that she heard the dogs barking Tuesday night in an alley. She says she took the poodles into her home and then contacted their owner, Mary Shuwoy. Shuwoy was especially grateful to have the dogs returned because of their advanced ages and health issues.
Dinky and Latoya were taken from Shuwoy´s vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of a Modesto Church. She says she thinks the animals were taken by thieves with the intent of breeding the animals.
