Merced River Plan Meetings Scheduled

A series of meetings to garner public input on the National Park Service´s Merced River Plan will take place throughout the rest of February.
The Merced Wild and Scenic River Plan outlines development, recreation and restoration projects along an 81-mile stretch of the river in Yosemite. Park Service workers will conduct a meeting regarding the Plan on Tuesday at the Park´s Visitor Center in the valley.
Another meeting will be held in El Portal at the elementary school from 5 to 9 p.m. on the same date.
