Snow Pack Promising For Water Levels

The latest measurements are in from the mountains and the results are much more promising than a year ago.

The central Sierra Nevada snow pack is about 135% of normal. Last year it was about 78% of normal.

The snow pack in the Stanislaus River basin is averaging 158% of normal, while the Tuolumne River basin snowpack is running at 163% of normal. The Merced River basin is also now at 163%. Finally, the San Joaquin River basin is at 167 %.
