No Damage To Southwest Airlines Jet That Hit Severe Turbulence

San Jose, CA — A team of mechanics didn´t find any damage to a Southwest Airlines jet bound for San Jose after it flew through severe turbulence yesterday.

Five people, including three flight attendants, were hurt when the Boeing 737 hit the turbulence about 30 minutes after taking off from Las Vegas.

A spokesman for Mineta San Jose International Airport says the injuries include a leg injury and a head injury.

Others appeared to be suffering from stress and anxiety.

There were 127 people on board at the time of the incident.
