Tuolumne County Residents May Have To Keep The Noise Down

Sonora, Ca — Complaints dealing with loud music were discussed this week by the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors.
The County currently does not have any rules on the books dealing with this type of problem.
County Administrator Craig Pedro says there are some challenges with enforcing this type of violation. “Life and safety have to come first, and these types of things come second.” Pedro says it will be hard to control noise problems without increased staffing.
The Board agreed to discuss the issue again at a future meeting.
