Two Small Vegetation Fires Hit Mother Lode Saturday

San Adreas, CA — C.D.F. officials report two small vegetation fires hit the Mother Lode Saturday.
The first occured at 1:30pm and covered approximately five acres in the Mountain Ranch area. No cause of the fire has been determined at this time.
The second five acre fire was near the Spence Ranch Feed Store on Hwy 49 near Angels Camp. That fire started at approximately 6pm. Officials have yet to determine the cause of that fire.
Both were quickly extinguished by C.D.F. personnel
