March 2024 Primary Election Tuolumne County Ballot Drop-off Locations

For more information call (209) 533-5570 or go in person to the election office at 2 S. Green Street in Sonora.

If hand delivering a vote-by-mail ballot, it must be received at a vote center or drop-off location by Election Day Tuesday, March 5, 2024, before 8 pm. If mailed, it must be postmarked by Election Day and received at County Election’s Office by March 12th.

What is a ballot drop-off location? Ballot drop-off locations are secure, locked boxes located at various locations throughout the county. The ballots are picked up regularly and transported directly to the central election office.

Vote Center Locations Open 7 am to 8 pm Election Day

All voters can vote in person at a Vote Center. All voters can also drop-off their vote-by-mail ballot at any vote center or ballot drop-off location. All Vote Center Locations will be open before election day (see chart below) and for extended hours from 7 am to 8 pm on March 5th.
