Trailer Overturned On HWY 108

Sonora, CA — The CHP reports a semi-trailer has tipped over on Highway 108. The accident happened on Highway 108 near the south Washington Street and Lime Kiln Road intersection. The trailer overturned in the eastbound lane of the highway spilling sand into the roadway. Crews are clearing the debris and traffic is down to one lane.

Update 2:30 p.m.: The CHP reports eastbound lane is closed.
Update 2:40 p.m.: The CHP reports there are no injuries in the crash.
Update 3:05 p.m. The CHP reports the roadway is cleared and traffic is moving freely again.
