Finland's Selanne leaves Sochi opener with injury
Finland forward Teemu Selanne (8) watches as the puck slips
SOCHI, Russia (AP) -- Teemu Selanne has left Finland's hockey opener with an upper-body injury.
Team spokesman Janne Lahti says Selanne will be OK for the rest of the tournament.
The "Finnish Flash" played in the first period and had an assist Thursday against Austria and wasn't on the ice in the second or third periods.
The 43-year-old Anaheim Ducks forward is the oldest hockey player at the Sochi Games.
He has tied a record by playing in the Olympics for a sixth time. He has helped Finland become the only nation with four medals since NHL players joined the Olympics in 1998.
