Cable blackout cut off Super Bowl in S Cal
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Viewing of the Super Bowl came to an abrupt halt for Time Warner Cable customers in Southern California due to a blackout.
Hundreds of football fans are taking to Twitter to complain about the sudden blackout shortly before halftime. Two other Time Warner cable channels -- KCAL-TV and KTLA-TV -- were also blacked out.
It wasn't immediately clear what caused the blackout.
Calls and email messages to Time Warner Cable spokesmen were not immediately returned.
The cable provider's website was not function.
