Dodgers' 24 7 network to debut Tuesday night
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles Dodgers fans who can't get enough of their team now have an outlet for their passion: A 24-hour television network dedicated to all things Dodgers.
SportsNet LA debuts on Tuesday night, a day before the Dodgers open their spring schedule against Arizona. The network is the result of a 25-year, $8.5 billion deal between the Dodgers and Time Warner Cable.
SportsNet LA will feature round-the-clock Dodgers content, and an on-air team that includes Orel Hershiser, Nomar Garciaparra, Charley Steiner and Jerry Hairston.
On Monday, Time Warner announced the channel would be available to Bright House Networks customers in Bakersfield.
