2 adults 2 children rescued from LA fire
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles firefighters have rescued two adults and two children from a residential fire in the San Fernando Valley.
Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey says the fire was reported shortly after 4:30 a.m. in Sylmar.
KABC-TV says arriving firefighters found a barn-like structure consumed in flames and determined that a family was living inside.
A man, a woman and two children, ages 12 and 8, were rescued and rushed to hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known.
Humphrey says crews knocked down the flames in about 25 minutes.
