Santa Rosa chiropractor convicted of molestation
SANTA ROSA, Calif. (AP) -- A Santa Rosa chiropractor is facing up to eight years in state prison following his conviction on charges that he molested a 60-year-old female patient.
The Press Democrat of Santa Rosa reports (http://bit.ly/1iQ4zbi) that 54-year-old Brian Icke shook his head as the verdict was read on Wednesday. Jurors found him guilty of sexual penetration of an unconscious person, but acquitted him of another felony charge, sexual battery by fraud.
Icke's attorney, Chris Andrian, said he would appeal the decision.
The woman testified that Icke molested her in November 2011 when she went to see him for continued treatment following a car crash.
Icke is scheduled to be sentenced on March 7.
