Calif woman moves into tiny home
ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. (AP) -- Bette Presley decided to clear out the clutter and go little in the latter years of her life.
The 72-year-old Central Coast resident recently moved into a 166-square-foot cabin that was delivered from Colorado Springs where it was made by Amish builders. The tiny home in Arroyo Grande has all the necessities for Presley, who has assumed a much simpler lifestyle.
The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/JwEdvS) Thursday that Presley's decision to downsize from a mobile home was to unburden her five adult children from having to go through her belongings and take care of her if she becomes ill.
The home has a small front porch and is built on wheels and can be moved.
