Body found in SF hotel garbage chute identified
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Authorities have identified the body of a woman found dead in a garbage chute at a hotel in San Francisco.
The medical examiner's office says the body 54-year-old Natalie Blaugh was found inside a chute at the Hotel Sunrise located in the city's trendy Mission District.
San Francisco police spokesman Officer Gordon Shyy says officers were called to hotel and discovered the body late Wednesday night.
Shyy says medical examiner investigators also at the scene did not find any external signs of a homicide as an investigation will continue to find out why the body was in the chute.
The medical examiner's office says an exact cause of death has not yet been determined.
