2 boys flee fire crew in Southern California park
SAN DIMAS, Calif. (AP) -- Authorities are looking for two boys on probation who ran away from a fire crew at a Southern California park.
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune (http://bit.ly/1gxDEw7 ) says the boys were assigned to a minimum-security fire crew working at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas when they ran off at around noon Monday.
An hour-long search failed to find them.
Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Denise Stephenson says the boys are not considered dangerous.
Stephenson says authorities ended their official search but they're still keeping their eyes open for the boys, who dumped their orange jumpsuits when they fled.
