Poizner Concerned About Rate Hikes
Sacramento, CA -- State Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner wants Anthem Blue Cross to postpone health insurance rate hikes averaging 30 to 39 percent until there's a full review.
The Associated Press says that Poizner has hired an outside actuary to determine whether Anthem is abiding by state regulations and spending at least 70 percent of premium dollars on medical care as opposed to administrative costs.
