Alot of gardens being pulled up at great expense but very few meth labs discovered here in the meth capital of california. But then again, if I had a hugely profitable meth operation, I would keep the cops off my back by having a few illegal aliens take a bag of seeds and start pot gardens out in the open to easily occupy law enforcements time and money. When you think about it, what have the meth dealers lost..a bag of seeds, some cheap plastic pipe and they even get to harvest some of the diversionary gardens. And if you are a Narc Officer, what is more fun and high profile...poking thru a poisonous meth lab or flying around, repelling from helicopters.

I would rather have seen all of that money and resources go to fighting meth, anti-gang enforcement, youth programs, and education. How many millions did they spend on this? Sure they got a lot of the crops, but it's not a drop in the bucket compared to the pot they missed.
Now is the time consider AB 390. Legalizing will take the profit from the drug cartels, get them and their pesticides & chemicals out of our forests, generate state revenues, and quit this war against a "plant".

Last spring TNT announced on the front page of the Democrat they would only have 2 officers assigned to eradication. Sounded like a red carpet to me.

merv - you need to provide the funds to step it up. I am tired of them using our money for an unwinnable battle. stupid. you pay for it merv.
