I thought George Segarini just recently retired as executive director of the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce after 17 paid years and a decade of volunteering? I think George is a great guy, but with all do respect I think it's time for some fresh ideas and "new blood" in Sonora's economics, planning and direction. We already have a fifty year veteran, Ron Stearn elected in 1964, as the longest tenured member of the City Council and one of the longest serving elected officials in the state.
Maybe we should get some fresh faces involved in Sonora?
Right! You don't need two highly respected community members that have devoted so, so much to our community. That have so much love and respect for our quaint town. Maybe we need to look for more citizens that have backgrounds of illegally dumping their trash in our beautiful city. WAKE UP!
I'll second that skidmoore. The downtown area just keeps going downhill, and it's really too bad. Wish it could be more like Murphy's. Our downtown looks sad.
